Venetian Soda Lounge is an immersive speakeasy-style cocktail lounge with a state-of-the-art listening room, focused on delivering exceptional service, high-quality cocktails, and a relaxed, inviting atmosphere. We are looking for someone who takes pride in hospitality and wants to help uphold the high standards that define the Venetian experience.

Weekend availability is required, especially Fridays and Saturdays.

Compensation

• Base pay: $16-$20/hour, depending on experience

• With Tips average $28-$30/hour total earnings

• Event bartending or catering experience is a plus

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cocktail bartending experience required

• Strong communication skills with both guests and team members

• Comfortable using point-of-sale systems

• Knowledge of beverage operations and bar service standards

• Must meet legal requirements for the sale of alcoholic beverages

• Current Vermont DLL certification required

• Must be able to read and speak English

• Must be available to work evenings and weekends

• Able to perform well in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Bartending and guest service

• Assisting with cocktail and menu development

• Working with the operations manager to help uphold SOPs and service standards

• Maintaining quality control for drinks and food being prepared and served

• Helping ensure opening and closing procedures are followed consistently

• Assisting with inventory maintenance and reporting

• Assisting with staff scheduling and coordination alongside the operations manager

• Basic food preparation

• Preparing drinks and food to spec

• Stocking and prepping food, beverages, and house soda syrups for service

• Checking IDs and maintaining compliance with alcohol service laws

• Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the workspace

• Meeting all health and safety regulations

• Assisting with serving, hosting, and general floor support as needed

• Helping oversee live event preparation and mobile event execution
