OPEN MIC NIGHT – HOUSE RULES Hosted by Amber deLaurentis (Piano accompaniment available when possible) ——— How It Works • To perform, you must enter your name between 6:30 – 7:00 PM • Names will be drawn randomly from a hat • Order is not based on arrival, so stick around and enjoy the show • Solo or duet only. • Spoken word and acoustic instruments only. • No pre-recorded tracks allowed. ——— Performance Time • Each performer gets: • Up to 3 songs OR 8 minutes max • Final time may vary depending on turnout ——— Show Time • Performances run from 7:00 – 8:30 PM ——— Accompaniment • Amber may accompany performers on piano when possible • Keep it simple and communicate clearly if you’d like accompaniment ——— Be Ready • Be present when your name is called • If you miss your turn, you may lose your slot ——— Setup • Keep setup quick and minimal • This is an open mic, not a full band soundcheck ——— General Expectations • Respect the room and other performers • No hateful or aggressive behavior • Staff reserves the right to end a performance if needed ——— Support the Night • Stick around, watch others, be part of the experience • The hat system works best when people stay engaged
