After a decade of captivating live shows and four beloved albums with his band The Collection, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist David Wimbish releases his self-titled album David Wimbish & The Collection today via Nettwerk. Produced by Marshall Altman (Matt Nathanson, Trevor Hall), the eight-track album marks both a full-circle return and a daring leap forward in David’s next chapter.

In pursuing this return to his roots, Wimbish and Altman recorded the album over four months in Nashville, TN. For the first time, David cut songs live in the studio accompanied by a rotating supporting cast of studio musicians, and it enabled him to conjure raw emotions on the tracks, old and new.
